Supporting mums through Pregnancy, birth and baby with Yoga.
These welcoming, accessible classes are designed with a mix of physical postures, breathing exercises and relaxation to support you during pregnancy and as you become a Mum.
We also encourage community, knowing how important friends can be at this time.
Meet Becca - on the left - and Kate - on the right. They head up our pre and post natal classes here at the Yoga Studio.

Fridays at 6pm (75 mins)
Based on vinyasa yoga, a popular dynamic style, this class will keep you moving, maintain strength and mobility and help you prepare physically and mentally for labour and your baby’s birth. Yoga also provides a great toolbox to deal with pregnancy niggles such as heartburn and fatigue.
Suitable from 14 weeks to birth - for those with no yoga experience at all, keen yoginis wishing to adapt their practice during pregnancy and everyone in between.

Mum & Baby Yoga
with Becca Kennaugh
Mondays at 11am (60 mins)
Now that your beautiful little bundle has arrived, looking after yourself will be much more of a challenge, but it’s even more important than ever after childbirth and the demands of looking after a baby.
The postnatal yoga class gently works your abdomen and stabilises your hips to help your body restore after childbirth. There will be some gorgeous stretches and exercises to release tension in your upper body, helping you reduce the likelihood of injuries or long term complication, leaving the class feeling looser and ready to take on the rest of the week!
This is an opportunity to go to a mum and baby class that focuses on you, but if your little one needs to be held or fed I will help you find ways to follow the class whenever it is possible. All postpartum mums are welcome as soon as you are told by your doctor it is okay to exercise (6 weeks or longer depending on how your little one came into the world), and you are welcome to come with or without your baby. Feel free to feed, change, burp, rock your baby, or just take a break whenever you like.
There are tea making facilities available to use in the studio at any time, and you’re welcome to stay afterwards and catch up with the other mums from the class.
Private Pregnancy Yoga Classes

Private pregnancy yoga classes are available with Kate on a one-off, ad-hoc or more regular basis.
Kate has been teaching vinyasa yoga for 10 years, pregnancy yoga for 5 and is herself a Mum with a 20-year personal yoga practice.

Supporting pregnancy conditions - sleeplessness, pelvic girdle pain, sciatica etc. 60 mins
Private Pregnancy sessions are currently available on Thursday lunchtimes and Friday daytimes and evenings for 60 or 75 mins.
